IAG Group

The company that I have been assigned for this unit is IAG Group.

The company was incorporated in Spain in January2011 and is now headquartered in London, UK. Now IAG is the parent company of Aer Lingus, British Airways, Iberia and Vueling.

It was listed on the Londonstock exchange within a month of its founding, as well as the Spanish StockExchange in the following couple of months. It has been a constituent of the FTSE100 since January 24, 2011 and has been part of the IBEX 35 index since Aprilin the same year.

Today, IAG is Europe’s third-largest airline companyand the sixth-largest in the whole world. They have 546 planes and 279 routesin total with an average 105 million of passenger volume per year.

After reading the brief introduction about this company, I went for the annual reports immediately and got totally attracted by its financial performance. Here is the link for the annual reports:
